The Princeton Lipid Research Study has followed participants for over 50 years with visits that included a variety of information, such as sociodemographics, family structure, health history, questionnaires, clinic assessments (e.g., height, weight, blood pressure), laboratory analyses (e.g., lipids, glucose, insulin), and diet.
Data from these additional visits is available by contacting Dr. Woo. A research proposal form can be downloaded here.
IRB approval and a Data Use Agreement are required prior to transfer of data. There may be a charge for assembly of a dataset depending on project requirements.
Collaboration/Ancillary Studies
The Princeton Lipid Research Study investigators are open to opportunities to collaborate with other investigators to design ancillary studies involving the Princeton Lipid Research Study cohort. These studies may involve analysis of existing data or biospecimens, or through additional follow-up of the cohort. Interested investigators should contact Dr. Henson or Dr. Woo to discuss opportunities.
Post-doctoral students are also invited to develop a project involving the Princeton Lipid Research Study cohort under the supervision of Drs. Woo and/or Henson. We also encourage summer students (graduate, medical or undergraduate) to work with Princeton Lipid Research Study data for a summer project.
